The natural life (Tiannian, Tianshou)



  • The natural life of man means the extent of life. A long and natural span of life depends on good health and vitality. This health will deliver a person towards an extended life span.


  • A natural life span may deliver a person to 100 years of age, but with better health and vitality this age may be increased to 120 years.( Neijing and Official Book). 


  •  Living for around 100-120 years of age can be a persons natural life span in TCM.
